HealthNest Digital Health Literacy Roundtable Report<\/h3>\n\n\n\n This paper is based on the outcome of a digital health roundtable organized by HealthNest on February 3, 2025. The roundtable brought together key organizations from across the Belgian health and care ecosystem.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n The discussion focused on strategies and tools to improve digital health literacy across Belgium. The insights gathered were translated into four strategic pillars. While the perspectives were diverse, there was strong consensus that improving digital health literacy is both urgent and achievable\u2014if responsibility is shared across the ecosystem.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

\nAccelerating health literacy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n In this whitepaper, we explore the pressing matter of health literacy. On the one hand, we provide a comprehensive framework for organisations to implement initiatives with the purpose of addressing health literacy. And on the other hand, we specifically turn to policy makers in Belgium and discuss their potential roles. Health literacy is not merely a patient concern but a social imperative.
